DIRECTIONS:
Take Rte 46 into Hackettstown, to Willow Grove Rd (by hospital signs). At the American Legion
property (where you’ll see a cool all-metal playground at the corner), turn right and continue to
the end, where you’ll see parking for River Park Playground on the right just before the
playground.
DESCRIPTION:
A clean, bright playground corralled by wooden fencing, adjacent to sports fields. Includes a
toddler-sized play structure in addition to equipment for older kids. A port-a-john is available in
the parking lot by the playground.

PICNICKING: Two picnic tables underneath a canopy, drinking fountain
CLIMBING: Wall, bars, sings, fireman’s pole, three sky swivels, chains, steps
PLAYTHINGS: Tunnels, looking glass
SLIDES: One tall corkscrew, two toddler, one wishbone, one chute
SPORTS: Two ball fields
SWINGS: One standing swing in the play structure
WALKING PATHS: Near the playground

kids’ art classes and walk-in open studio time. Check out their birthday party offerings when you
