the swings and watch the sense of accomplishment when they shout out “Mommy I did it!”
Lynn Anne Cutler, Author, Best of Sussex & Warren Counties, NJ
Lynn Anne Cutler works for a living, and lives for time spent with her husband and three young children. She holds an M.F.A. in Creative Writing, and worked in marketing and as a
teacher before beginning her family. Now, she works at home while caring for her little ones full time. Lynn Anne best loves the playgrounds that offer playthings for the baby, but also
have equipment she can play on alongside the older ones. She also believes that playground play dates are the best kind!
Ian Cutler, Co-Contributor, Best of Sussex & Warren Counties, NJ
Ian Cutler was a major contributor to the research (and driving) that went into putting this book together! Ian is a father of three, a fifth grade teacher, and a small business owner
who is always looking for fun places to go with the kids - especially playgrounds! His favorite thing about heading to the playground is seeing the expressions on his children's
faces as they attempt something for the first time and call out, "Daddy, come on, look what I can do!"
Nancy Champagne, Art Director
Nancy has created work for world-renowned brands like Disney, Dannon, Ringling Bros. Barnum Bailey Circus and the Pepsi Woodstock event. She is a long-time resident of Fairfield county,
Connecticut where she lives with her husband, daughter and two dogs. She's been having fun designing –with many sleepless nights– for more years than she wants to mention. She enjoys
going to the park right in front of her house with her dogs and especially loves hearing the laughter and squeals from the children playing in the playground.
Dawn Varner, Advertising Design
Dawn is responsible for the design of many of the advertisements found in The Playground Guide. .

Author a Local Playground Guide
We are hiring people who want to see The Playground Guide in their local area. Local authors are hired as freelancers. It typically takes about a year from start to finish to create the 1st edition of
The Playground Guide in your local area. Major responsibilities of a local author include researching all the local playgrounds, documenting and photographing each playground, advertising sales,
distribution and sales and marketing of the final book. The Playground Guide as a publishing firm provides tons of support in the form of templates, guidelines, editing and design and funding of
production. An author can work part-time and very flexible hours that range from a minimum of 10 hours a week to 30 or 40 hours a week during "crunch time." All authors should be extremely
outgoing, highly organized and have some familiarity with kids oriented businesses and activities in their local area. Please contact us if you are interested.

Advertise in The Playground Guide
The Playground Guide provides a unique opportunity for businesses who have products and services targeted towards kids and their parents. The opportunity is unique because your
advertisement or key messages are put into a book that is read over and over again for years! Who knows how many times our readers will see your ad! And, they will not throw the book out. We
also work closely with our advertisers to help promote their businesses through our web-site, our relationships with local organizations and at local events and many of our advertisers also retail
the books. Please contact us to learn how you can advertise in current or future editions of The Playground Guide..

Become a Retailer
Many different types of businesses retail The Playground Guide. Really, any location that attracts kids and/or parents is a viable location to sell the books! Our current retailers include independent
book stores, museums, art studios, clothing stores, consignment shops, grocery stores, florists, toy stores, pre-schools, doctors offices, visitor centers and more. Retailers can consign the
books or purchase them wholesale. Minimum orders of 10 include a counter-top point of purchase display and locations that carry 30 or more books have the option of a floor display. We also
have a relationship with Baker & Taylor who is our distributor and books may be ordered through them. If you are want more information on retailing the book please contact
amy@theplaygroundguide.com.

Fundraise
Moms clubs, schools, churches and other organizations have sold The Playground Guide as a way to raise money for their organization, a charity they support or a pet project. Books can be sold
directly to members or by members with a % of each sale then being donated back from The Playground Guide. Alternatively, we can create an event that helps to raise funds. Please contact us
for more information on how we might work together to support your favorite cause!
